Role

UI Art

As the only UI artist, I was in charge of making all the 2D art used for the UI system.
I created concept art for a lot of the possible art for the team to pick and choose what they like, and offer feedback on what the team as a whole would like.
I went and made different buttons for the pause menu and gave them up and pressed states in order to give it a more interactive feel.

Here are just some of the UI pieces that I made, including both the up and down state for one of the buttons.

Marketing and Leadership

Marketing materials were a collaborative effort amongst multiple teammates, and I was tasked to make the main poster, seen on the left. I made sure to include the logo for the game that I had made early on in development. I also provided feedback to others when progress reports for other marketing materials were provided, in order to try and keep the general theme consistent.

When the original creative director that we started off with stepped down halfway through the project, I then took the additional role of creative director. My main responsibilities were to make sure that artists were still following the art style guide previously made, providing feedback on any art implemented, and collaborating with the producer and lead programmer to make sure that the project is was meeting our standards.
